We are currently seeking a SDPD Coordinator position at Tekfen Construction's Jeddah Cluster Pipeline Project in Saudi Arabia.
Overview
Role : SDPD Coordinator responsible for SPDP management and coordination across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines within the project procurement framework.
Responsibilities
- Issue spare parts instructions to suppliers during bidding and in purchase orders.
- Present spare parts requirements during supplier bid explanation and pre-award meetings.
- Support procurement of capital spares, start-up spares, and operating materials.
- Ensure inclusion of SPDP deliverables in contractor requisitions and purchase orders.
- Identify SPDPs required for each project.
- Prepare and maintain the SPDP submittal schedule, ensuring timely submission and review.
- Coordinate the technical review and approval of SPDPs by associated engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation).
- Provide SPDP checklists applicable to all purchased equipment.
- Implement procedures for SPDP status tracking, expediting, and progress reporting.
- Prepare and submit status reports and sample templates as per project requirements.
- Identify and resolve SPDP deficiencies or noncompliance by suppliers.
- Provide all required data to Saudi Aramco to resolve SPDP deficiencies promptly, within 30 calendar days of receiving MSD’s SPDP Review Sheet.
- Provide Materials Standardization Division (MSD) with project purchase order information in a structured table format.
- Ensure all RFQs and purchase orders, including supplier sub-orders, contain clear instructions for spare parts and operating materials data submission.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical discipline)Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or materials management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or large-scale industrial projectsProven experience in SPDP (Spare Parts Data Package) management, preparation, submission, and coordination with multiple engineering disciplinesStrong understanding of procurement and purchasing processes, including RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and supplier managementFamiliarity with Saudi Aramco procurement standards and MSD requirements is highly preferredAbility to coordinate effectively between suppliers, procurement teams, and engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation)Excellent organizational skills for tracking, expediting, and reporting SPDP status and deliverablesBenefits
Tekfen Construction will provide food, accommodation, and transportation for a 10-hour workday. Foreign employees are entitled to 15 working days of paid leave every 6 months (twice a year), and the company covers round-trip flight tickets. Private health insurance is included. Accommodation and transportation are fully provided by the company.
