Job Description
The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems on-site. This includes ensuring compliance with safety standards, monitoring quality workmanship, coordinating with contractors, and managing the electrical team to meet project timelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including cable trays, wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control panels.
Oversee Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Maintenance (ITCM) of RMUs, transformers, MV cable pulling and termination.
Manage ITCM of BMS, Fire Alarm Systems, and Control Systems wiring for industrial and building projects.
Supervise ITCM of LV and MV switchgear, generators, ATS, UPS, and busway installations.
Monitor installation, testing, and maintenance of LAN, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and codes.
Review electrical plans and blueprints to guide project execution.
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and verification of electrical systems.
Document daily activities, inspections, and progress reports.
Monitor material and spare parts requirements for electrical installation and maintenance.
Coordinate with contractors and other supervisors to ensure timely and quality execution.
Train, guide, and monitor electricians to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Future Use : Applicable for electrical supervision roles in contracting, industrial, and building maintenance projects.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
4–7 years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of LV / MV systems, RMUs, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
Experience with BMS, Fire Alarm Systems, LAN, CCTV, and Access Control installations.
Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, plans, and blueprints.
Knowledge of electrical safety codes and compliance standards.
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to manage teams, contractors, and project timelines effectively.
