Overview
This team enables automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers. It serves Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by enabling automation, including real-time & offline (image / video) data auditing services. A key contribution is supporting fulfillment centers in maintaining inventory accuracy. This is an operational role involving precise video / image audits with high accuracy and speed to aid defect reduction. Responsibilities
Watch several hundred videos in a shift and provide responses by following goals on accuracy (quality), speed (productivity) and right / acceptable practices. Maintain breaks at predefined slots and dedicate 6.8 to 7 hours per day to answering videos. For associates working from home, maintain a dedicated workspace with a table, chair, sufficient lighting, and ensure workspace / data isn’t accessed by others. Verify or mark the location of product through a tool while maintaining the highest level of accuracy to support stow quality. Qualifications
Willingness to work in a non-tech role for a contract duration of 6 months. Ability to audit image / video / text based jobs. Ability to identify details from blurry, less sharp videos and provide correct responses; high level of attention & focus on screen. Willingness to work on incremental targets / goals on quality & productivity. Fast pace of implementation & consistent performance. Ability to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts), remote teams and be an exceptionally good team player. Readiness to come to office for a few days when required (applicable for associates working from home). Willingness to turn ON laptop camera during virtual meetings. Associates work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts. Shifts are 9 hours, including pre-scheduled breaks, with timings subject to change every 3-4 months or per business requirements. Night shift allowances apply per Amazon policy when applicable. Team & Process
Data Auditing Operations provides human support to Amazon Fulfillment facilities to enable hands-free active stowing through visual audits of videos / images. Videos are typically 15–20 seconds and are reviewed to inform products stored at fulfillment centers. Audited videos contribute to improving automated processes and overall stow quality.
