Overview
Information Manager / BIM Manager (Site Supervision) – Riyadh, KSA. AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Information Manager with expertise in site supervision to oversee and manage the project information systems for a large-scale building project in the UAE. The successful candidate will ensure that all project information is accurately captured, processed, and shared across stakeholders, with a particular focus on site supervision aspects. This role requires deep knowledge of LOD 400 and 500 standards and must be fluent in Arabic, as communication with local teams and stakeholders is key.

Responsibilities
- Information Management : Develop and manage systems to collect, store, and distribute all project information in alignment with project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements. Oversee accuracy and completeness of information shared across construction, design, and client teams. Implement and manage tools for document control, BIM integration, and site data management. Manage LOD 400 and 500 BIM models to ensure information is accurate, updated, and shared effectively.
- Site Supervision : Ensure site-based project information is accurately captured, monitored, and reported; facilitate smooth information flow between site and project office. Coordinate with site supervision to collect data on ongoing works, progress, schedules, and technical issues. Monitor timely submission of site reports, inspection logs, and construction progress records.
- Coordination And Liaison : Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and data flow. Act as central point of contact for information management queries from the site supervision team. Facilitate meetings on information management and issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality Control : Ensure site information and documentation meet required quality standards and project specifications. Conduct audits to ensure data is correctly shared and used by relevant parties. Address discrepancies in project information, especially relating to site activities and construction drawings.
- Reporting And Documentation : Prepare regular reports on project information, including LOD 400 / 500 models, document control, and on-site data issues. Maintain an organized archive of site data and project documents for retrieval and audits. Provide feedback and recommendations for improving information management practices.
- Role And Responsibilities : Set up and maintain information systems for drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules; ensure accurate site data for stakeholders; train site personnel on information management tools and standards; identify and mitigate information-flow risks; ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and privacy policies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
BIM and LOD Standards : Thorough understanding of LOD 400 / 500 and ability to manage detailed BIM models in collaboration with design and construction teams.Information Management : Expertise in document control, data management, and project collaboration tools (e.g., Procore, Aconex, ACC, Asite).Site Supervision : Experience in on-site construction management and supervision of Building & Infrastructure projects with timely and accurate reporting.Construction Practices : Familiarity with drawings, scheduling, and engineering specs for large-scale building projects.Arabic Fluency : Proficient in Arabic (spoken and written) for communication with local teams, contractors, and clients.Technology Proficiency : Proficiency in MS Project, BIM tools, and other construction project management software.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Information Management, or related discipline.BIM certification (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.Proficiency in English is required for communication with international teams and clients.Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in information management and site supervision, preferably in large-scale Building and infrastructure projects.Significant experience with LOD 400 / 500 BIM standards, including managing detailed models for large construction projects.Experience in the UAE or GCC region is desirable with knowledge of local standards and practices.Involvement in construction and management of building projects is advantageous.Extensive understanding of 4D & 5D deliverables and related COBie data for Asset Information Model (AIM) and O&M data.Must be fluent in Arabic.Benefits and Diversity
