Cyber Security Project Manager

Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables for cybersecurity initiatives as per defined budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, vendors, stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., NCA – ECC, OTCC, NIST, ISO 27001).

Manage vendors, stakeholders, and project documentation.

Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors.

Coordinate security assessments and audits as part of projects.

Implement best practices in project management and continuous process improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology or related field.

5+ years of IT or cybersecurity project management experience.

Proven track record managing complex cybersecurity projects (e.g., firewall, IDS / IPS deployments, SIEM implementations, security awareness programs).

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and tools.

Project management with security certification preferred (PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA).

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
