System / Database Operations Senior Engineer
Jobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision, preparing complex reports and contributing to operational targets within the assigned functional area. Responsibilities include developing ZATCA IT systems and database operations guidelines, installing and configuring software, troubleshooting incidents, monitoring daily operations, and supporting performance reports.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess current ZATCA systems and database operational model, identify gaps and challenges, and define improvement areas.
- Gather business needs, oversee database design, review capacity plans, and align projects with set plans.
- Perform daily operations of ZATCA systems and databases to maintain operational performance.
- Oversee daily work activities, assess feasibility of automation, and build scripts to automate operations.
- Develop maintenance implementation plans, coordinate with stakeholders to maintain optimal system performance.
- Review and monitor change requests and ensure timely implementation.
- Prioritize system / database incidents, conduct troubleshooting and technical support activities in a timely manner.
- Monitor performance, health, and safety, recommend improvements to meet business objectives and quality.
- Review performance reports, analyze actual performance against KPIs, and implement actions to improve operations.
- Follow relevant policies, processes, and SOPs for consistent workflow.
- Assist in solving escalated problems and provide support for junior team members.
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person for proper closure.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required.Seniority Level
