Overview
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Protection Consultant Cum Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should excel in designing, leading, and executing fire protection engineering projects compliant with HCIS requirements. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of fire protection systems, project management, and excellent communication abilities to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Lead and manage fire protection engineering design and installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with HCIS requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
Valid CFPS Certification. CFI or other Accredited Certifications are acceptable alternatives.Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering design and installation.Technical Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD to review and interpret design drawings.Strong technical knowledge of firefighting systems and equipment from reputed manufacturers.Understanding of firefighting system design requirements and ability to perform front-end design.Project Management
Supervise, plan, and execute firefighting engineering projects.Lead commissioning of projects and ensure all project deliverables are met.Effectively manage and resolve consultant comments on project-related matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for fire protection projects.Oversee the installation of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and address any installation issues.Maintain accurate project documentation and records.Develop and execute commissioning plans for fire protection systems.Conduct performance tests to verify system functionality and compliance with design criteria.Prepare commissioning reports and documentation for client handover.Attend client meetings to discuss project requirements and progress.Respond to consultant comments and inquiries, providing technical expertise and solutions.Review and interpret consultant reports, incorporating feedback into project designs.Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Coordination and Support
Collaborate with the sales team to prepare accurate quotes and estimates.Provide technical support for Engineering, Design, and Installation (EDI) projects.Provide technical support to the sales team during the proposal development process.Prepare cost estimates for fire protection systems, including material, labor, and equipment costs.Develop competitive proposals that meet client requirements and budget constraints.Preferred Attributes
