Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online degrees / diplomas are not accepted), and

Current Nursing (RN) license in North America, Western Europe, or Australia / New Zealand, and

Specialty qualification related to area of expertise required. Evidence must be provided, and

Minimum of four years of current experience as a RN, including at least one years of current teaching / preceptoring experience in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-size acute-care hospital setting in North America, Western Europe, or Australia / New Zealand.

Department Information

The Nursing Development and Saudization Department (ND&S) has the overall responsibility for providing Nursing Affairs with comprehensive educational services that promote staff development and continuing education at all levels. Services encompass orientation, staff development, continuing education, clinically-based education and support to staff nurses and clinical placements for local nursing students and affiliated entities.

ND&S facilitates clinical opportunities and internships to Saudi student nurses from Kingdom and foreign universities and college programs. Selected nurse graduates from Kingdom universities are accepted into an extended learning program post completion of their university internship. Additionally, Saudi foreign scholarship nurses are supported in an internship program upon successful graduation.

Nursing Development and Saudization supports organizational initiatives related to the Hospital's strategic priorities, quality improvement and quality management and requests from governmental agencies and entities.
