Supervisor - Transport Apparel Group

Objective This position is responsible for supervising daily transport operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost‑effective delivery of goods to meet service‑level targets.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise inbound / outbound transportation activities, coordinate routing, scheduling, and delivery execution.

Manage drivers, monitor vehicle assignments, and ensure compliance with traffic and safety regulations.

Collaborate with warehouse, DC, and logistics teams to synchronize transport with inventory demands.

Track KPIs such as on‑time delivery, transit times, and fuel usage; elevate and solve operational issues.

Implement route optimization measures and monitor cost‑saving initiatives.

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and assist in fleet maintenance planning.

Support vendor and carrier coordination for pickups, drop-offs, and service‑level agreements.

Prepare transportation activity reports and present findings to Manager – Transport for process enhancements.

Desired Experience

2‑4 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or fleet operations.

Strong knowledge of route planning, carrier management, and transportation regulations.

Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and data analysis tools.

Effective negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Valid driving licence and familiarity with regional transport regulations preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
