Manager - Fixed Assets

At Six Flags & Aquarabia Qiddiya City, the Manager – Fixed Assets is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of the fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and reconciliation. This role ensures accuracy in reporting, compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards, and alignment with internal policies and audit requirements. The Manager supports financial reporting, system optimization, and process improvements, while leading internal controls and contributing to the efficiency and integrity of fixed asset management operations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role.

Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g., GDPR).

Skills

Strong or advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).

Languages : Fluent in English and Arabic.

Job Responsibilities :

• Supervise the fixed assets register, ensuring all acquisitions, disposals, and transfers are recorded accurately.
• Monitor depreciation schedules in compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
• Supervise periodic physical verification of fixed assets to reconcile with the fixed assets register.
• Provide fixed asset-related reports, including capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset reconciliations.
• Provide detailed schedules and reports for management review and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, such as IFRS and GAAP.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, providing fixed asset data and insights as needed.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance for financial and fixed asset records.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and resolving queries.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls over the general ledger and fixed asset processes.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in fixed asset management.
• Contribute to ERP system enhancements related to fixed asset modules.
• Strengthen internal controls for the general ledger and fixed asset processes.
• Identify and recommend improvements to optimize accuracy and efficiency in fixed asset operations.
• Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of ERP system modules related to asset management.
• Other duties as assigned.
