Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to support the continued growth and market expansion of our operations in KSA. This role is pivotal in strengthening our market position and achieving sustainable growth by identifying strategic opportunities, leading project pursuits, cultivating client relationships, and driving successful proposal outcomes.
This position requires solid experience within the Architecture and Engineering industry, as a deep understanding of design processes, client expectations, and project delivery frameworks is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day pursuit and proposal activities in Saudi Arabia, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Support and implement Winning Work strategies under the direction of the Country Director.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, consultants, and partners across target sectors and regions to promote the company’s design and consulting services.
- Drive opportunity identification, qualification, and pursuit efforts through effective networking, relationship management, and market intelligence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within KSA and the wider GCC region.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance visibility and expand professional networks.
- Track and report on Winning Work KPIs, including pipeline activity, hit rates, and forecast performance against targets.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in work winning, business development, or related roles within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.Strong understanding of the KSA market and business culture.Proven experience in leading and securing new project opportunities and managing client relationships in a competitive environment.Solid understanding of project financials, bid strategy, and contract negotiation.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities.Seniority Level
