By supporting and influencing our channel network in the region, the candidate will identify new leads and opportunities to design-in our solutions into manufacturing processes of new molecules, whilst driving the existing funnel of projects.Build sustainable relationships and develop strong partnerships with; sales channels, customer SMEs, influential KOLs and Architecture & Engineering firms.Develop and implement a territory business plan that is designed to support our channels & end-users, and meet the commercial expectations of the BPG business.Implement a programme of technical sales activities including but not restricted to; technical seminars, product evaluations, equipment demonstrations, channel product training.Maintain a healthy and hygienic sales funnel and engage in regular revenue forecast discussions with the channels and the Channel Manager.Participate in regular business reviews to share the status of your region and call out where support is needed to meet your goals and objectives.Have visibility on competitor solutions and activities, and act as the VOC to the business.Minimum Experience Requirements
- Demonstrable commercial experience within the bioprocess market, ideally focussed on upstream process R&D and manufacturing.
- Bachelor or higher degree in a life science related field.
- Experience of complex, high-value opportunity closure via strategic sales opportunity management.
- Experience using a CRM, updating regularly and accurately to manage the opportunity pipeline and provide insight to internal collaborators.
- Proficient with standard MS Office tools.
- Fluency in English.
Travel Requirements
Customer facing activities, including overnight travel where necessary, will represent between 60-70% of your working time. Occasional travel into Europe and the US should also be expected.
