Education : Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred

About the Role

The Manager Supply Chain will spearhead strategic planning and execution of supply chain processes to optimize inventory, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The role involves leading digital transformation initiatives, negotiating third-party logistics and warehousing contracts, and driving operational excellence across the organization's expansive network.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Optimization

  • Develop and implement strategies tailored to franchise business operations to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and service level agreements are met.
  • Oversee warehouse operations in key locations, ensuring efficiency in handling over 2,500 SKUs.
  • Drive operational efficiency to reduce delivery lead times by 50%.

Digital Transformation

  • Lead the implementation of Syncron Inventory Software, optimizing inventory movement across 650+ stations.
  • Implement barcoding systems for enhanced inventory tracking and stock visibility.
  • Integrate digital tools with existing ERP systems to ensure real-time data accuracy.
  • Inventory Management

  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify and address inventory inefficiencies.
  • Reduce inventory turnover days by 15-25% and liquidate slow-moving stock worth SAR 50 million.
  • Optimize stock levels across locations, ensuring zero stockouts for key products.
  • Financial and Contract Management

  • Lead negotiations for third-party logistics and warehousing contracts for significant cost savings.
  • Oversee capital expenditure projects related to digitization and operational enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track supply chain performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging lean principles to drive efficiency.
  • Train and upskill teams to align with digital transformation goals.

  • Proficiency in supply chain analytics and inventory optimization tools.
  • Expertise in lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with AI-driven tools like Syncron, and experience in barcoding or RFID implementation.
