الوصف الوظيفيSpecialize in Teradata modeling including partitioning, indexing (PI, SI, NUSI), join indexes, and statistics optimization Transform source data into target EDW models; design fact / dimension tables and implement SCD Types 1, 2, 3 Data Profiling & Analysis Analyze source data structures, relationships, and dependencies; perform data lineage and impact analysis Business Requirements & Collaboration Collaborate with business tribes (product, marketing, finance, operations), development teams, ETL developers, and DBAs Conduct discussions with source system owners and subject matter experts Data Validation & Documentation Create mapping documents, High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and technical specifications Maintain data dictionary, metadata repository, and operational documentation Development & Implementation Write complex SQL for data analysis and validation; support ETL teams with technical guidance Teradata (Required) : Advanced knowledge of architecture, SQL, utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT), optimization, partitioning, and indexing Oracle : Strong experience with PL / SQL and performance tuning SQL : Expert-level programming across multiple platforms (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server) Data modeling tools (Erwin, PowerDesigner); ETL tools exposure (Ab Initio, Informatica) Data warehouse concepts : Star / snowflake schema, dimensional modeling (Kimball), normalized modeling (Inmon) Strong understanding of telecom business processes and data domains OSS : Network inventory, provisioning, fault / performance management BSS : Billing, customer / order management, revenue assurance, product catalog Telecom KPIs : ARPU, churn rate, network utilization, service quality Full SDLC experience (Agile / Scrum, Waterfall methodologies) Product-oriented mindset with strategic thinking and business value focus Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Teradata certification (Teradata Certified Professional) Cloud data platforms experience (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake) Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark); MDM and data governance knowledge Comprehensive data models with Teradata-optimized physical designs Source-to-target mapping documents, HLD / LLD documents, and technical specifications Data profiling reports, quality assessments, and performance tuning recommendations
Core Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Architecture
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data warehouses
Conduct data profiling on source systems to identify quality issues, patterns, and anomalies
Understand and analyze business requirements from business units, analysts, and tribes
Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation; execute data quality checks
Design and optimize database objects; implement Teradata-specific optimizations (PI / SI selection, join indexes, statistics, workload management)
