Overview
The Academy Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of cybersecurity training programs. This role ensures that all training initiatives align with organizational goals, industry standards, and evolving cybersecurity threats. The Academy Manager will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality training that enhances the cybersecurity capabilities of the workforce and contributes to national security objectives.
Experience
- 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and learning, with at least 3–5 years in managing academies or training centers.
- Familiarity with cyber range environments, simulations, and hands-on training tools.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and accreditation processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Certification in training or instructional design is a plus (e.g., ATD, CPTD).Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST) is a plusRequired Skills
