UX / UI Designer and Researcher Assistant Manager
Job Purpose The role holder is responsible for leading and managing UX / UI design and research initiatives, ensuring high‑quality digital experiences that align with business strategy and user needs. This includes conducting user research, overseeing design processes, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and optimizing omni‑channel interfaces for usability, accessibility and performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and optimize intuitive user interfaces and end‑to‑end experiences across digital platforms.
- Lead the research, design, and implementation of UX / UI strategies across digital products and services.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to inform design decisions.
- Translate business goals and user insights into comprehensive user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Oversee the conversion of user stories and research findings into actionable design solutions.
- Manage and supervise cross‑functional collaboration with IT, development, and business teams.
- Define testing scenarios, validate development outputs, and ensure successful deployments.
- Ensure consistency in design systems, branding, and accessibility standards.
- Provide strategic input for budget planning related to UX / UI design and research development.
- Stay up to date with emerging design trends, research methodologies, and digital experience innovations.
- Monitor performance analytics, user feedback and research data to propose design enhancements and new features.
- Manage design and research resources, timelines and priorities for omni‑channel initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related discipline.
Nature of Experience Prior experience in digital user experience and interface design, preferably in the telecommunication industry.
Job Band Sr. Professional.
Education Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
