Senior Architect (BIM professional)

About the Role

As a Senior Architect , you will take a leading role in the design, coordination, and technical development of high-profile projects. With over a decade of experience, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional architectural solutions that align with DAO’s vision and standards. Your strong design sensibility, BIM proficiency, and technical expertise will be essential in guiding project teams and ensuring seamless collaboration from concept through execution. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that architectural integrity, quality, and coordination are upheld across all phases of the project.

Requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the architectural design and coordination of complex projects from concept to construction.
• Develop and review detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with local codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Utilize BIM software to manage models, facilitate coordination, and streamline project delivery.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to resolve design challenges.
• Supervise and mentor junior architects and technical staff.
• Review material selections, construction details, and specifications for quality and efficiency.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design workshops as needed.
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met without compromising design excellence.
• Support the preparation of permit, tender, and construction documents.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DAO’s architectural standards and practices.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.

EDUCATION

B.Sc. in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus).
