Overview
Lead the commercial strategy and execution for data center division, driving revenue growth, securing hyperscale and enterprise clients, and ensuring the financial viability and market success of digital infrastructure projects in alignment with the company’s strategic vision and Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals. Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for data center division, targeting hyperscale clients and enterprise customers. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities in cloud computing, AI-driven solutions, and data security services. Lead negotiations and establish long-term contracts with hyperscale clients, including global technology firms and digital infrastructure operators. Cultivate relationships with government entities, financial institutions, and strategic partners to support data center projects. Oversee the development of tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of clients across various industries. Financial Oversight & Risk Management
Ensure the financial viability of data center projects through meticulous budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Manage commercial risks by implementing robust risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory landscapes and ensure adherence to international standards. Marketing & Brand Positioning
Enhance brand presence in the digital infrastructure sector through strategic marketing initiatives. Promote commitment to sustainability and innovation in data center development. Represent at industry conferences, forums, and events to showcase the company\'s capabilities and vision Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead a high-performing commercial team with expertise in data center services and digital solutions. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the commercial division. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members Knowledge and Experience
15 - 17 years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably within : - Data center development and operations - Cloud services and digital infrastructure - Mission-critical facilities or technology-intensive industries At least 5–7 years in executive or senior leadership roles with P&L responsibility. Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts with hyperscale clients, including cloud service providers (CSPs), telecoms, and digital infrastructure players. Experience working in international and multi-regional environments, with strong understanding of regulatory, financial, and operational frameworks for data centers. Proven track record of leading commercial teams in high-growth, high-capex industries. Strong understanding of : - Data center economics, design standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942), and operational models - Emerging technologies in cloud, edge computing, and sustainable energy solutions - Public-private partnership structures and large-scale infrastructure project finance Familiarity with ESG principles and sustainable development requirements in data infrastructure. Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, ICT, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree (MBA or MSc in Strategy, Technology Management, or related discipline) would be an added advantage.
