Mechanical Engineer to join an ownersengineering team for an industrial wastewater treatment plant inthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Location : JubailIndustrial City

Duration : 38months

Rotational Leave : 91 days on duty / 16days off duty

Working schedule : 10 hours per day6 days per week

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Monitoringof EPC Contractors activities

Review comment andapprove EPC Contractors Engineering specifications andEquipmenttechnical specifications.

Design and Engineeringdocumentation review

OWNERs Project Schedulemonitoring and update

Site and Constructionactivities supervision

Site walkdowns andpunching activities

Site and Quality Inspections(including inspections at Manufacturerworkshops)

Testing and commissioningsupervision

Plant Startup supervision andverification of performance guarantees

Defectsidentification and verification of EPC Contractors correctiveactions

Attendance up to the end of all warrantyperiods or as deemed decided by OWNER

Representing OWNER in meetings with EPC Contractor Subcontractorsand Vendors

Spare parts and special toolsinspection

Project Managementincluding :

Cost Control

Schedule Control

Variationmanagement

Claims resolution

Insurance claims management

SKILLs & COMPETENCIESRequired :

Bachelors Degree in Engineering in therelevant field from a recognized University

7years direct and relevant experience related to management of EPCProjects in Oil & Gas Petrochemical industry WasteWaterTreatment plants etc.

5 years of Constructionand Site Experience

Minimum 2 years inManagement position. Management of Multidisciplinaryprofiles.

Relevant international experience inmajor EPC Project >

100 Million USD

Knowledge of the American codes and standards example : ASME APIASTM ASHRAE

Bidding and tendering experience inmajor tenders is a plus

Basic design and FEEDExperience in Major Projects is a plus

Experience in Interface management

Experience inInternational Standard Contracts (FIDIC NEC) is aplus.

Middle East Experience isrequired
