Overview
The Trade Marketing Assistant Manager is responsible for bridging the gap between Marketing and Sales by ensuring that brand strategies are effectively translated into in-store execution. The role focuses on maximizing category growth through strong planning, readiness, and flawless execution of trade marketing initiatives, supporting the development and execution of trade marketing strategies that strengthen category performance and drive sales growth. By working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams, the position contributes to business planning, market competitiveness, and operational readiness. The role also supports the delivery of trade marketing initiatives with a focus on execution excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
(1) Strategic Develop the trade marketing plans for the Frozen solutions ensuring alignment with overall business and brand strategies. Lead forecasting inputs, trade planning, and promotion readiness in coordination with Sales and Supply Chain to secure execution excellence. Drive compliance with On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and Must-Stock List (MSL) as key business priorities for category growth. Partner with Sales and Key Accounts to shape Joint Business Planning (JBP) that supports both customer collaboration and the business unit objectives. Conduct value chain assessments, margin analysis, and market scans to identify opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and long-term competitiveness. (2) Operational Execute trade activations, displays, and visibility campaigns in line with trade marketing plans. Monitor branch availability, OSA performance, and space check compliance. Track promotional effectiveness and ROI, ensuring readiness and timely execution. Prepare Excel-based reports using historical data, build blocks, and generate insights for decision-making. Support data processing to provide actionable recommendations for sales and trade marketing teams. (3) People Collaborate with Sales, Category management, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on forecasts, promotions, and execution. Provide analytical support to field sales teams for effective implementation of trade activities. Promote teamwork, accountability, and readiness culture within cross-functional teams. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree in marketing / Trade Marketing is a plus. Minimum 4–7 years of trade marketing or sales experience in FMCG, preferably in Frozen Foods or Food sector. Experience in trade planning, forecasting, and execution required.
