Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports.

Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company has been appointed to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of a state of the art international airport in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. King Salman International Airport will have a capacity of up to 120 million travellers by 2030 and 185 million travellers by 2050, and the capacity to process up to 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050. Bechtel will provide PMC services for three new terminals; Terminal 6 is a new build \u2018low cost carrier\u2019 rom a be tuned text\u00ef, hyper efficient terminal with gross floor area of approximately 450,000 m2, capacity of 20 mppa; Iconic Terminal is a new build \u2018new concept\u2019 terminal with gross floor area of approximately 1M m2, capacity of 40 to 45 mppa, and Private Aviation Terminal and hangars for VIPs and business jet passengers.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a results-driven Logistics Director with a strong background in establishing site wide logistics on large-scale infrastructure projects. As a key member of the executive team, the ideal candidate will bring experience establishing the internal infrastructure of large-scale projects to facilitate the movement of people, materials, and equipment to support high-value, multi-phase construction programs. With construction works being undertaken alongside an operational airport, this individual will need to engage with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and integrate them into the project strategy for establishing common use facilities and utilities.

Work will be conducted with the overall project\'s best interest in mind, and the Logistics Director will establish a site wide logistics team that will be responsible for its execution, compliance, innovation, budget management, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
