Working Days and Hours : Sunday to Thursday, from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Position title : Business Application Specialist - Pharmaceutical Production
Main Responsibilities :
Application Management & Support
- Serve as the subject matter expert for pharmaceutical production software applications, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP (such as SAP), and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Configure and customize applications to align with business and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to minimize production downtime.
- Perform regular system updates and assist with implementation of new software solutions.
Process Optimization
Analyze and document business processes in pharmaceutical production to identify areas for digital improvement and automation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, IT, quality assurance, regulatory affairs) to design and deploy solutions that meet GMP standards.Support continuous improvement by reviewing operational data and recommending system enhancements.Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all applications and workflows comply with regulatory (FDA, EMA, etc.) and industry standards (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, etc.).Support production documentation management, batch traceability, and quality control through application solutions.Training & User Support
Mentor and train end users and operational personnel on application usage and best practices.Create and maintain user manuals, SOPs, and support documentation.Project Management
Participate in or lead projects to deploy new applications or optimize existing ones across production sites.Coordinate with vendors, IT, and business stakeholders in upgrades or system integrations.Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.Knowledge of production software (MES, ERP, QMS, LIMS) and regulatory compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience :
More than 5 years of relevant experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and digital application solutions.Experience in project and change management is preferred.Seniority level
