Overview
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a keen understanding of the local market, strong leadership abilities, and a focus on results. You will work closely with senior management to shape the company’s expansion strategy and lead initiatives that position Noema as a key player in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a new business development team focused on expanding Noema’s presence in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to communicate and present to client C-level executives and decision makers
- Grasp of technology concepts and ability to communicate clearly these concepts
- Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics in the area
- Work closely with technology vendors, mainly Microsoft and SAP, build trust and cooperate on opportunities and accounts
- Provide senior management with market intelligence and recommendations to capitalize on growth opportunities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the Saudi Arabia market
- Monitor the development of accurate sales forecasts and analyze data to monitor pipeline performance
- Lead negotiations with potential clients, securing contracts that align with Noema goals and objectives
- Serve as a bridge between the client and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects
- Maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies to enhance Noema’s presence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus)5+ years of business development or sales experience within the financial services, banking, or technology sectors in Saudi Arabia or the GCC regionDeep understanding of the Saudi Arabian financial landscape, including industry regulations and market dynamicsDeep knowledge of ERP systems, Loan Origination processes, and Reporting within the financial services sectorExperience in Data analytics and AI solutions sales is a plusFluency in both Arabic and EnglishProven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales teamsRobust analytical and strategic thinking, allowing for the creation of effective business development plansStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish rapport and influence stakeholders at all levelsEstablished network of connections within the Saudi financial services sector, which can be leveraged for business growthFamiliarity with FinTech trendsBenefits
