Overview

Responsibilities and qualifications for a Presales / Pre-Sales Manager role at Sangfor Technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify requirements and business opportunities from customer / partner meetings; develop project technology strategy by understanding client objectives; diagnose and map client requirements; articulate solution risks and barriers; recommend project approaches; prepare time and cost estimates; and plan the full project life cycle.
  • Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting proofs-of-concept to demonstrate technical feasibility when necessary.
  • Understand main industries (e.g., retail, banking, construction, healthcare) security or infrastructure requirements. Propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to meet customer requirements.
  • Complete technical documents related to projects / training / site references; correlate with HQ to collect local requirements and push HQ to optimize product features.
  • Responsible for partner's technical and presales personnel technical recognition, training and support.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1.5-10 years of experience in IT industry as pre-sales is required, including solid knowledge of network best practices. Thorough understanding of server, storage, cloud, virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure, and virtual desktop infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of virtualization, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of mainstream virtualization or hyper-converged solutions (Vmware, Simplivity, Nutanix, etc.) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of troubleshooting technical issues involving Sangfor products.
  • Certifications for Sangfor products or others (e.g., VMware VCP / VCAP, Certified Solution Architect from AWS or Azure) along with proven experience are preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
