Job Title : Pre-Sales & Technical Support Engineer – Lighting Control & A / V Systems

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia | Immediate Joiners Preferred

ViaLighting is a leading provider of innovative architectural lighting solutions, headquartered in Riyadh. Our Control Department is specialized in Lighting Control and Audio-Visual (AV) Systems Integration offering end-to-end design, supply, programming, testing, and commissioning services for architectural, commercial, and entertainment projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales & Technical Support Engineer with strong technical and design capabilities in Lighting Control and A / V Systems.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between client requirements and engineering feasibility — developing proposals, layouts, system designs, and technical submittals that align with project timelines and specifications.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Review project drawings and specifications to extract system requirements.

Prepare system breakdowns and quantity survey (takeoffs) from drawings.

Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), layouts, and integration schematics (KNX, DALI, DMX, AV, BMS).

Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, and compliance statements.

Conduct RFQ compliance and respond to RFPs / RFIs with detailed solutions.

Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure materials meet technical and lead-time requirements.

Prepare and submit technical submittals, data sheets, method statements, and compliance matrices.

Deliver technical presentations and solution briefings alongside the Sales team.

Participate in technical meetings, handle consultant comments, and finalize system approvals.

Provide full design documentation handover to the project execution team.

We are looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.

2–5 years’ experience in lighting control or A / V system design.

Proficient in AutoCAD (able to prepare SLDs, layouts, and integration drawings).

Strong understanding of KNX, DALI, DMX, Art-Net, and AV integration protocols.

Excellent communication, technical documentation, and presentation skills.
