Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with company goals and project timelines. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, awarding, and contract negotiations. Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors in compliance with company and local regulations. Lead procurement activities for large-scale infrastructure and civil construction projects across the KSA. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services. Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with local and international vendors to ensure the best value. Monitor supplier performance and manage long-term relationships to ensure reliability and quality. Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance departments to align procurement activities with operational requirements. Manage procurement budgets, cost control, and reporting in accordance with project and corporate financial targets. Stay updated with changes in local market regulations, pricing trends, and supply chain risks. Mentor and manage the procurement team to build internal capabilities and improve procurement efficiency. Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline) –
Master’s degree is a plus . Minimum 20 years of procurement experience , with at least
10 years in the Saudi construction market . Deep knowledge of
local supplier networks ,
regulatory frameworks , and
customs / logistics processes
in KSA. Strong leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills. Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English. Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Experience with mega or Giga projects is an added advantage.
