Charge Nurse -Pre-Operative PACU

We re looking fora Registered Nurse to care for our patients with compassion and one whocan facilitate their speedy recovery. Thecandidate will be responsible for educating them and their familieson prevention methods and healthy habits. Ideally the candidateshould be a responsible gentle and welltrainedprofessional who can provide exceptional nursing care with minimalsupervision whilst following health and safety guidelinesfaithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote the patientswellbeing by providing high quality nursingcare.

• Monitorpatient s condition and assess their needs to provide the bestpossible care.
• Observe and interpret patient s symptoms andcommunicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deviseindividualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressuremeasurements administering injections etc.) and fill in patient scharts.
• Adjust andadminister patient s medication(s) and provide treatments accordingto the physician s orders.
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellenthygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment sanitizing surfacespreparing beds etc.).
• Provide instant medical care inemergencies.
• Assistsurgeons during operations.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursingassistants.
• Foster asupportive and compassionate environment to care for patients andtheir families.
• Expand theirknowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshopsconferences etc.

Requirements

Proven experience as aregistered nurse.

Excellent knowledge of nursing caremethods and procedures.

Excellent knowledge ofemergency care.

Indepth knowledge of health and safetyguidelines and procedures (sanitation decontamination etc.) andwillingness to follow them at alltimes.

A team player with excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.

Responsible andcompassionate.

Outstanding organizational andmultitasking skills.

Patient with excellentproblemsolving skills.

B.Sc or other diploma from anursing program.

A valid nursinglicense.

Bachelor'sDegree in Nursing Masters Degree in Nursing
