Domopan Arabia is a leading construction company in Saudi Arabia, providing high-quality and innovative solutions to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Safety Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and worksites.

Role Overview :

The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. They will also monitor and evaluate workplace practices to identify and eliminate potential hazards, as well as conduct investigations and report on any accidents or incidents.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of worksites and equipment to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and provide recommendations for preventing reoccurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, including incidents, inspections, and training.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities for necessary permits and licenses related to safety.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and communicate any updates or changes in safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on new safety regulations and best practices to ensure the company's compliance.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
