Part of this engagement consists of surveying a range of secure government communication assets and related facilities throughout the Kingdom. The Building Services Engineer will form part of a 2 man survey team, working alongside a Lead Building Surveyor. The team will be project managed from Riyadh with the requirement to travel extensively throughout KSA to undertake condition assessments at over 100 government sites throughout the Kingdom. Essential Requirements : Bachelors Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering from a recognised University. Experience of a wide range of building types and engineering technology. Sound understanding of construction, design and engineering. Experience in the consistent application of assessment criteria across a wide and varied estate. Applicants must be familiar with relevant technical codes of practice. Applicants must be numerate, literate and familiar with IT and software appropriate to the tasks undertaken. Good report writing and communication skills. Evidence of working within a secure or restricted environment. English and Arabic speaking. Motivated, pro-active. Driving license. Behavioural Competencies : Capable of owning and finishing the job so assigned. Solution-orientated. Clear communication skills in written and spoken English essential in a multi-cultural environment. Technical confidence, able to make decisions. Team player. Culturally aware. Mobile and flexible. Good physical health (travel and site access). Precise and accurate. Good interpersonal skills. Preferable : Saudi National or transferrable Iqama. Responsibilities

The role will be to provide specialist Building Services Engineering inputs to survey team in support of Lead. Implementing a visit programme established in consultation with the Project Manager. Sole responsibility for Building Services Engineering assessment. Preparation of robust and accurate reports in prescribed format. Following Atkins Project Quality Plan. Maintaining appropriate client contact and engagement on relevant key issues. Ensuring compliance with Business Management procedures and office systems. Rewards & Benefits
