The Social Media Digital Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and adept at translating marketing strategies into compelling content tailored for each social media platform.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Develop social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
Maintain a content calendar for all social channels to ensure consistent posting.
Research social trends, audience behaviours, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Identify opportunities to grow social presence organically and through paid campaigns.
Content Creation & Management
Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and copywriters to produce high-quality content.
Ensure content aligns with brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
Schedule and manage posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
Paid Social Campaigns
Plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns to drive traffic, leads, or sales.
Set targeting, budgeting, and bidding strategies for campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance and adjust based on KPIs (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS).
Conduct A / B testing for ads and creative elements to improve performance.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze key metrics including engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions.
Prepare reports on social media performance, insights, and recommendations.
Use data to inform strategy and improve content and campaign effectiveness.
Community Engagement
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor online conversations and trends relevant to the brand.
Foster community engagement and build relationships with followers, influencers, and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Experience managing paid social campaigns across multiple platforms.
Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Experience in influencer marketing and partnership campaigns.
Knowledge of video editing, graphic design, and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut).
Familiarity with social media advertising certifications (Meta Blueprint, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Marketing Labs).
Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
Experience with community management and social listening tools.
