QA / QC COATING INSPECTOR

الوصف الوظيفيBachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in coating inspection or quality control in relevant industries such as oil & gas, marine, or construction. Certifications such as NACE Coating Inspector, SSPC Coating Inspector, or equivalent are preferred. Strong understanding of coating materials, application techniques, and inspection methodologies. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as dry film thickness gauges, holiday detectors, and adhesion testers. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with project stakeholders.
Description
We are seeking an experienced QA / QC Coating Inspector to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coating inspection and a deep understanding of quality control processes related to coatings in various industrial applications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of coating applications to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and interpret project specifications, technical drawings, and coating standards.
- Perform visual inspections, thickness measurements, and adhesion tests on coated surfaces.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for management and clients.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding quality assurance issues.
- Ensure that all coating materials and processes meet the required quality standards.
- Participate in quality audits and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
