2nd Industrial City, Dammam, Saudi Arabia Job Purpose : To develop, maintain, and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by aligning demand forecasts, inventory levels, resource capacities, and production constraints. This role ensures smooth workflow across departments, enhances scheduling accuracy, mitigates bottlenecks, and supports operational excellence through effective collaboration, continuous improvement, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling : Develop and maintain the MPS, incorporating sales forecasts, inventory levels, material lead times, and resource capacities. Create detailed weekly and monthly production schedules for individual work centers and production lines. Analyze and adjust schedules based on real-time production data, equipment downtime, and material availability. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and capacity constraints. Implement and maintain scheduling software and systems. Communication & Collaboration : Collaborate with various departments like sales, purchasing, engineering, and production to ensure alignment and resource allocation. Communicate effectively with production supervisors and team members to ensure understanding and adherence to schedules. Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to present production plans and discuss potential issues. Prepare and deliver regular reports on production performance and schedule adherence. Performance Monitoring & Improvement : Monitor actual production progress against the MPS and identify deviations. Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize scheduling efficiency and meet production goals. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like on-time delivery, inventory levels, and production costs. Other Duties : May contribute to project management activities related to new product launches or capacity expansions. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in production scheduling. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred). PMP certificate, and MS Project or primavera P6. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production scheduling or planning. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective production schedules.
