Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, and they are recruiting a Hard Services Manager to join the team located in Riyadh – KSA.
The successful candidate will provide Technical Engineering support to the client, ensuring the delivery of maintenance management and critical utility services across sites.
Key Tasks :
- Provide strategic direction and advice on all site based hard services matters.
- Site Approved person for confined space entry and HV and isolations.
- Ensure site HSSE policy is strictly adhered to and implement consequence management for any flagrant violations.
- Lead the maintenance strategy to improve maintenance techniques that reduce invasive maintenance.
- Ensure that both planned and reactive maintenance activities are compliant with the Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators are met.
- Ensure that the hard services, third parties have current professional qualifications as appropriate and drive re-licensing / training as required for staff.
- Identify and implement best practice and innovative hard services solutions.
- Manage small works projects, typically relocations or various client equipment handling, as requested by the client.
- Prepare monthly operating budget variance reports. Manage, monitor and advise on the discretionary spend budget.
- Deliver quality services in a cost and operationally effective manner.
- Provide adequate skills, training, and resources to meet technical requirements of the account, in compliance with critical services standards.
- Review / track recommendations on appropriate action plan to closure through action plan tool.
- Provide Operations teams with support to develop, update, maintain, and communicate Account plans, project lists and any other quality document that require expert input.
- Ensure that all corrective and preventative actions are communicated to regional operations.
- Responsible for ensuring that all statutory requirements have been fulfilled for statutory equipment and / or systems, liaising with Enforcing Authorities as required.
- Manage with a pragmatic and problem-solving approach to regulatory related matters.
- Maintain adherence to up-to-date legislation across all sites.
- Support local FM teams in the effective liaisons and management of all third-party contractors.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise whilst minimizing the impact of the day-to-day running of sites.
- Work closely with other members of the account management team to deliver on collective business plans.
- Work with all support groups to ensure alignment with all initiatives to maintain compliance of the operations.
- Ensure that our client deliver services are compliant to the business and regions through liaison and cooperation with operations.
- Drive common training requirements across the EMEA regions and review the method for ensuring that all employees and any other persons employed under our clients direct control work to the account specific quality arrangements.
- Review of quality policies and procedures, writing contract and client specific procedure and review annually Technical Services Manager JD instructions to link with and / or underpin and systems.
- Undertake regional process analysis, developing common compliance methods and processes to drive standardization across the global operation.
- Implement a schedule of statutory compliance self-audits and monitor adherence to this.
- Maintain up-to-date asset list of items requiring a statutory inspection or certificate.
- Ensure that all statutory and compliance obligations are formally documented and implemented through risk management and compliance systems.
