Telecom Technician / Engineer

for the IMANCO-STC Project, Saudi Arabia (Job ID : ). Responsibilities

Installation :

Set up and configure telecommunications equipment, such as telephones, internet connections, and network hardware. Maintenance :

Perform routine checks and updates to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of communication systems. Troubleshooting & Repair :

Identify and fix faults in telecommunication lines and equipment using diagnostic tools and electronic instruments. Testing :

Test communication lines and devices to confirm they are working properly. Customer Support :

Interact with clients to understand their telecommunication needs, provide technical assistance, and train them on equipment usage. Documentation :

Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and installations. Required Skills and Knowledge :

Technical expertise in communication protocols (e.g., TCP / IP, VoIP, SIP), network infrastructure, and telecommunications hardware. Diagnostic Tools :

Proficiency with electronic instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, and other measuring equipment. Problem-Solving :

Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Communication :

Ability to explain technical information clearly to clients and colleagues. Physical Dexterity :

Fine motor skills for working with wires, cables, and tools. Field Work :

Travel to various sites, including construction areas, and potentially work in confined spaces or challenging conditions. Technical Settings :

May work in switch rooms, data centers, or customer locations. Examples of Equipment and Systems :

Telephones, switchboards, voice mail systems, Internet and cable networks, fiber optics and optical communication systems, routers, switches, and network cabling. Qualifications

Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering (or Diploma in Engineering in Telecommunication). Past experience in the telecommunication sector preferred. Experience

At least 3 year(s) of experience in relevant fields. Experience in telecommunications, training institutes, real estate, overseas companies, or group of companies is a plus. Job Details
