QC Manager

الوصف الوظيفيBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or related field. 8–10 years of quality control experience in steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or related industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of welding, coating, and material testing standards. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Supervise and guide QC inspectors, welding inspectors, and coating inspectors.
- Review and approve material test certificates, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor compliance with international standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM, AWS, NACE, etc.).
- Conduct internal audits and prepare for client / third-party inspections.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and mentoring to QC team members.
