Business Configuration Engineer – Ericsson Catalogue

️ We’re Hiring : Business Configuration Engineer – Ericsson Catalogue Location : Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Type : Full-time We are looking for a Business Configuration Engineer to join our telecom team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases and Ericsson EMM, in addition to expertise in service configuration, systems integration, and performance troubleshooting within Ericsson environments. Key Responsibilities : ️ Handle product and service configuration using the Ericsson Catalogue ️ Execute integration and migration activities ️ Conduct system, module, and acceptance testing ️ Perform post-activity testing and support continuous improvement ️ Troubleshoot configuration issues and escalate when necessary ️ Maintain E2E technical understanding and contribute to procedures and process enhancement ️ Attend technical meetings and represent configuration team activities ️ Ensure accountability for changes introduced to the network or internal procedures Duties and Activities : ️ Manage 2nd-level operation / restoration and trouble reports ️ Handle change requests and maintain detailed change tracking ️ Investigate disturbances and conduct performance and traffic analysis ️ Ensure functional / system test cases align with design ️ Work night shifts and remain available 24 / 7 during special events and emergencies Priority Skills (Highly Preferred) : ️ Strong Oracle DB administration experience ️ Hands-on experience with Ericsson EMM Additional Required Skills & Experience : ️ Strong Linux system administration ️ SQL scripting and Unix Shell scripting ️ Basic programming (Core Java preferred) ️ Experience with JBoss, SOAP UI, Load Balancers, REST APIs ️ Solid understanding of IP networking and system integration ️ Knowledge of virtual machines and cloud deployments ️ Familiarity with DNS, FQDNs, and trace analysis ️ Experience working with Ericsson Catalogue and network diagrams General Competencies : ️ Strong analytical and investigative mindset ️ Fluent in English (written and spoken) ️ Flexible, methodical, and responsive to dynamic environments ️ Able to work independently and under tight deadlines ️ Willingness to work shifts and during critical network activities Apply Now : Not the right fit?
