SUPERVISOR, MECHANICAL

Overview

Supervises and leads the overall activities of Mechanical Section and ensure the maximum level of productivity and efficiency. Provides administrative and technical support to the Department Head / Assistant Head. Position requires 24-hours coverage. Responsibilities

Leads overall operational and daily activities of Mechanical Section in the most efficient and professional manner. Analyses, orders and determines required tools, equipment, supplies, parts and manpower required to complete the job and instructs all craftsmen regarding procedures to be followed. Supervises work in progress and assists with difficult or complicated tasks. Reviews operational schedules, assignments and manpower requirement of the section. Assures complete and safe isolation of the equipment and systems that require repair, service or modification. Prepares and maintains the section budget. Orders equipment, materials, etc. requested in the annual estimated budget. Evaluates the existing physical condition of all equipment and systems under Mechanical Section and recommends necessary replacement or upgrade. Ensures that an adequate inventory of all necessary spare parts, tools and test equipment is maintained at all times in the section. Ensures proper use of tools and equipment. Ensures that the accomplished work meets the Hospital’s standard. Assists in implementing Hospital and Departmental Policies & Procedures. Follows all prescribed safety procedures. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable. Performs other related duties as assigned Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronic, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or others related discipline is required Experience Required

Three (3) years of related experience with Master’s, or five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required. Other Requirements (Certificates)

Certified of Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is required for Engineer.
