TM and TM Arabia Limited have been awarded twolump-sum turn-key EPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORPRefinery (a JV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail,Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The overall value of the contracts is approximatelyUSD 2 billion. The project’s scope of work entails complete engineeringservices, equipment and material supply, construction activities,pre-commissioning, and commissioning, and shall have a duration ofapproximately 4 years.
The LEAP Operator is responsible for monitoring andmanaging the LEAP (Artificial Intelligent Safety Monitoring System) withinthe control center. This role involves real-time surveillance of safetyconditions, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance withsafety protocols to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.
Duties and responsibilities
- SystemMonitoring : Continuouslymonitor the LEAP system to detect unsafe acts and conditions inreal-time. This includes surveillance of high-risk areas, vehiclemovements, and personnel activities.
- HazardIdentification : UtilizeAI-driven analytics to identify potential safety hazards and intervenepromptly to mitigate risks.
- IncidentResponse : Respondto safety alerts generated by the LEAP system, coordinating with on-sitesafety personnel to address and resolve issues.
- DataAnalysis : Analyzedata collected by the LEAP system to identify trends and areas forimprovement in safety practices.
- Reporting : Generate and maintain detailed reports onsafety incidents, system performance, and corrective actions taken.
- Communication : Communicate effectively with HSE managers,site supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure acoordinated approach to safety management.
- SystemMaintenance : Ensurethe LEAP system is functioning optimally by performing regular checksand coordinating with technical support for any required maintenance orupdates.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree inoccupational health and safety, Environmental Science, InformationTechnology, or a related fieldExperience
Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in asafety-related role, preferably with experience in using AI-drivensafety monitoring systems.Skills and Abilities
Strongknowledge of safety protocols and regulations.Proficiencyin using AI and surveillance systems.Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills.Abilityto work under pressure and respond quickly to safety alerts.Proficiencyin data analysis and report generation.Attentionto Detail : Keeneye for identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions.Proactive : Ability to anticipate potential hazards andtake preventive measures.Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively with safetypersonnel and other stakeholders.TechnicalProficiency : Comfortablewith using advanced technology and AI systems for safety monitoring.Thisposition is based in a control center.The roleinvolves working in shifts to ensure continuous monitoring of safety conditions.Additional Information :
The LEAPOperator will be expected to participate in regular safety meetings andprovide updates on the system's performance and safety incidents.By leveraging advanced AI technology, theLEAP Operator plays a crucial role in enhancing workplace safety andpreventing accidents, ensuring a safe and secure environment for allemployees.
