Job Description
The post holder will manage the development of bids and presentations. They will work closely with bid leads and other stakeholders to drive delivery of submissions and presentations. The goal for this position is to provide senior level input to the bid process and provide clients with clearly differentiated proposals that demonstrate why they should work with Turner & Townsend.
Responsibilities
- Write / edit non-technical and edit technical bespoke content working with the bid teams to ensure timely completion.
- Facilitate bid Kick Off, Win Theme and Storyboard sessions with bid team.
- Proactively manage the bid and review process while ensuring all contributors understand expectations for content and timelines.
- Incorporate local knowledge, evidence / research and adhere to writing style / branding.
- Ensure submissions are targeted to their audience, consisting of an evidence base and innovative approaches as advised by experts across the organisation and best practice.
- Advise bid lead on relevant added value options to strengthen bid response.
- Review and amend draft bid considering feedback from peers and Directors.
- Customise pen profiles and CV content to better position our proposed team.
- Briefing graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics to communicate complex information and concepts in an impactful way.
- Following submission of bid, extract key information from tender to improve best practice collateral.
- Support in delivery of best practice training on bid process, management and writing.
- Contribute to board reporting on pipeline, conversion, and lessons learnt.
- Pipeline management – working with cost centre leads to monitor and proactively manage opportunity pipeline and advise on focus areas.

Writing original non-technical content for Executive Summaries and other sections where needed.Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.Critical thinking skills to consistently develop, manage and deliver high quality bids and content on time.Commitment to developing junior colleagues by sharing knowledge and coaching in a positive way to encourage improved performance.Location and travel
The post holder will be based in our office in Riyadh.There may be a requirement for occasional travel across the region.Qualifications
Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, Marketing, etc.Minimum 9 - 15 years’ experience is required.Expertise in MS Office suite, skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint (required) and a design-based software such as InDesign (preferred).APMP Foundation level certification is advantageous but not essential.Professional membership of a recognised institution (desired).Additional Information
