Confidential Government . We are seeking a Senior Architectural Engineer to join our high-impact team working on innovative urban development and architectural transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a hands-on operational consultancy role in enhancing design quality, elevating standards, and ensuring alignment with local regulations, codes, and identity frameworks such as the King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism. This is an opportunity to shape the future of urban spaces in Riyadh through collaboration, leadership, and excellence in execution. Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Urban Planning : Review, develop, and guide architectural and urban designs that comply with Saudi Building Codes, local identity standards, and sustainability requirements. Operational Oversight : Lead technical tasks and provide hands-on support to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality outputs across all design and development stages. Project Delivery : Supervise project execution from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with timeframes, budgets, and performance metrics. Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with internal teams, government officials, engineering offices, and stakeholders to drive alignment and resolve project challenges efficiently. Technical Evaluation : Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses, while offering expert insights that support strategic decision-making. Quality Review : Evaluate and uplift the technical quality of outputs produced by the in-house engineering teams, offering mentorship and corrective direction when needed. Documentation & Reporting : Compile thorough data and present detailed reports on design proposals, project progress, compliance status, and technical reviews. Client-Oriented Flexibility : Undertake additional duties or assignments as directed by the client, that contribute to the project’s success. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in architecture and urban development within Saudi Arabia. Proven knowledge of : Saudi Building Codes, Local Identity guidelines, King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism. Demonstrated operational experience (not purely managerial); able to engage directly in technical engineering tasks. Prior experience working with or for Saudi government entities, such as : Royal Commission for Riyadh City, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and firms like Khatib & Alami, Saudi Consult, Omrania. Solid understanding of municipal workflows, particularly within Amanah operations and RRM (Riyadh Region Municipality) systems. Familiarity with government-private sector dynamics in the Saudi urban development landscape. Core Skills & Competencies

Technical Proficiency : Mastery of CAD, BIM, and architectural design software. Project Management : Strong experience in large-scale project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Analytical Thinking : Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Communication : Clear and effective verbal and written communication in both Arabic and English. Problem Solving : Practical, creative approach to resolving challenges. Leadership : Ability to guide teams and uplift overall performance through mentorship. Adaptability : Willingness to adjust to evolving project needs and emerging technologies. Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning. Relevant professional certifications such as LEED, AIA, PMP, or RMP are preferred. Personal Attributes We Value
