Vitro Retinal and Phaco Product Manager (Jeddah)

As a Vitro Retinal and Phaco Product Manager , you will develop and coordinate implementation of short, medium and long term plans through strategic planning, business plan development and marketing planning for product line, ensure achievement of products target through Partnership and National Managers and Distributors, profitability and growth and plans implementation in the regions.
A typical day in this role will include :
- Identifies and analyses customer needs as well as market segment dynamics as to develop, communicate and coordinate strategic product plan, business plan, marketing plans and budget plan implementation in compliance with Alcon international strategies and update according to the direction established by operational manager. Defines, along with PMs, FCH, Saudi National Manager (NM) and Distributors, the marketingandcommercialobjectivesandallocatesthemto Regionstoensureobjectivesachievementfor sales, profitability and growth in the short, medium and long term.
- To coordinate implementation of promotion plans for vitro retinal and phaco equipment and other products lines, through NM / PMs / Distributorsastoensuretimelyandappropriateimplementationandfollowupofstrategiesand tactics via Distributors.
- Tosupportmonthlysalesforecastforrespectiveproduct(s)linesbasedon NM / PMsfeedbackaswellason market knowledge in order to ensure continuous availability as well as achievement of inventory targets.
- Responsible,alongwithFCH / NM / PMs / Distributors,todefineandproposerequiredinvestmentsto regions. Responsible to manage promotion expenses and be responsible for to allocate them to the A&P budget accordingly with Distributor Marketing Plan.
- Toidentifyalongwith NM,CMsandDistributors,theopportunitiesfornewproducts / servicesasto achieve growth targets.
- Toestablishstrongrelationshipswith Distributors,opinionleadersandkeyexternalindividuals,inorderto keep product lines updated taking into account requirements from environment.
- Visit the market across the ME and provide support to Alcon and Distributor teams on marketing strategy execution (Travel and Field time 30% – 40%)
- Identifyandimplementthesystemsandmethodologytotrackmarketdata(ActiveEquipmentInstalled Bases, Market Shares, tender management, market intelligence etc.)
- Toconductallrequiredregionalorlocalreportsatrequireddates.
- ForecastannualandlongtermMS / IBofassignedproducts
WE ARE SEEKING :
Education / Background : Health sciences bachelor’s degree, preferably with marketing or business master’s degree as plus.Experience : 8 years in Sales, commercial, marketing for medical devices with at least 2 – 3 years in Marketing experience alone, preferably in surgical ophthalmology as plusComputerskills(MicrosoftExcel,Word,PowerPoint,Outlook,InternetExplorer,highlevelofEnglish fluency with Arabic language as plus, marketing and strategic planning.MiddleEastknowledgeandDistributorMarketset-upisconsideredaplus.Willing to travel extensively 30%-40% (Middle East Regions)HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON :
