Safety In Charge - Riyadh

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety In Charge to oversee workplace safety and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The role involves conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and developing safety programs to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Examine machinery, working environments, and structures; measure noise, heat, and vibrations; and take samples or photographs when necessary.
• Ensure employees are provided with and properly using the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Review and monitor safety precautions in hazardous environments or when handling dangerous substances.
• Stay updated on new health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety improvements.
• Monitor contractors and service providers to prevent safety risks.
• Prepare detailed inspection and investigation reports, maintaining accurate records.
• Implement corrective actions and issue warnings or permits when necessary.
• Develop and implement safety programs, risk assessments, and preventive strategies.
• Deliver safety training sessions for employees and new hires.
• Lead, motivate, and train safety staff to achieve compliance and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management within scope of expertise.
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
