الوصف الوظيفيBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering roles. Strong experience with : Windows Server OS MS SQL Server Virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) Networking concepts (TCP / IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls) Microsoft Cluster Services (Failover Clustering) Familiarity with security systems software (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Avigilon) is a plus. Certifications such as MCSA, VMware VCP, or CCNA are advantageous. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in operating systems, databases, networking, and virtualization, with an added advantage for experience in security systems software and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain security system servers and applications (VMS, access control, intrusion detection, etc.).
- Support and troubleshoot systems running on Windows Server OS, MS SQL, and VMware or Hyper-V platforms.
- Design and implement network configurations, ensuring secure and reliable system communication.
- Configure and support Microsoft Failover Clustering for high availability environments.
- Collaborate with project and support teams to deploy and integrate security systems in client environments.
- Perform system diagnostics and resolve issues related to software, database, or network connectivity.
- Ensure proper system documentation, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors for advanced support and updates to security platforms.
