SAP PI / PO Expert

Overview

The SAP PI / PO Expert is responsible for leading the architecture, development, and maintenance of SAP integration landscapes using SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO). This role involves managing complex interface solutions between SAP and external systems using IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, and file adapters. The candidate will lead technical teams, resolve integration issues, and directly engage with clients to gather requirements and provide guidance on interface design, implementation, and monitoring. Experience with S / 4HANA and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP PI / PO integration strategy across projects
• Design and manage end-to-end interface solutions
• Oversee configuration of communication channels, mappings, and adapters
• Resolve interface failures and conduct root cause analysis
• Manage migration activities from PI / PO to SAP CPI when applicable
• Maintain interface documentation, technical specs, and configuration records
• Collaborate with functional consultants to align integration with business processes
• Conduct performance tuning and interface optimization
• Ensure secure and compliant integration practices
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams
