Role Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated professional capable of working effectively in a cross-functional team environment. The successful candidate will assume a full-time employment as a Field Manager, Gilead Oncology in the KSA Medical Affairs department and report to the Oncology Middle East Therapy Area Lead.
Essential and Specific Responsibilities
- Allocate approximately 70-75% of time in the field, engaging in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and thought leaders, while proactively gathering actionable medical insights to guide strategic planning and support evidence-based decision making
- Respond to clinical inquiries regarding marketed or developmental Gilead products
- Present scientific and clinical data for these products
- Identify and develop national opinion leaders to support Gilead products and train Gilead approved speakers through personal contacts and on-site visits
- Represent the company to groups of experts, medical professional groups, scientific societies, patient representatives, and at national and international scientific meetings
- Assist with sales force training at national levels
- Anticipate obstacles and difficulties that may arise in the field and resolve them in a collaborative manner
- Conduct medical education and communication activities, including digital, face-to-face and print
- Serve as internal scientific expert in the therapy area, healthcare landscape, and data on Gilead and competitor medicines; act as the medical affairs representative in the Saudi cross-functional therapeutic team
- Execute the Gilead Oncology Medical Affairs tactics for Saudi Arabia, in close collaboration with relevant members of the cross-functional team supporting the Oncology franchise
- Manage projects to completion, anticipate obstacles and difficulties, resolving them in a collaborative manner
