Audit Director

We are looking for an experienced Audit Director to join our esteemed recruitment and employee placement agency in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This leadership role is vital in ensuring that our audit processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with both organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in auditing standards such as SCOPA, GTIL, IFRS, and ISA, coupled with a strong background in risk management and compliance. As an Audit Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of auditors, managing audit engagements, and ensuring that the highest standards of integrity and transparency are maintained throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire audit process, from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with SCOPA, GTIL, IFRS, and ISA standards.

Develop and implement comprehensive audit strategies that align with the company's objectives, focusing on risk assessment and mitigation.

Manage and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and professional growth.

Collaborate with senior management to identify potential risks and develop actionable recommendations for improvement in processes and controls.

Prepare and present detailed audit reports to executive management and the board, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.

Ensure that all audit activities adhere to established standards, maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency in all processes.

Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing to continually enhance the audit function.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Manage the audit budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.

Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization by raising awareness and understanding of audit processes.

Preferred Candidate

Proven experience as an Audit Director or in a similar leadership role within the auditing sector, particularly in the recruitment and employee placement industry.

Strong knowledge of auditing standards including SCOPA, GTIL, IFRS, and ISA, with a solid understanding of risk management and compliance regulations.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex financial data and providing actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Proficient in audit software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends and regulations.

Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
