Document Control & Translator

The Document Control & Translator will support the document management process and translate technical and project-related documents between English and Arabic. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience in handling technical documents.

The project involves large-scale land development, including civil infrastructure, utilities, and urban facilities. The Document Control & Translator will assist in managing project documentation and provide translation services to support effective communication across multilingual teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in document control and translation, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.

Strong command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Knowledge of document control standards and practices.

Proficiency in document management software (SharePoint, Aconex, ProjectWise, or equivalent).

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and proper filing.

Translate project documents, reports, drawings, and correspondence between English and Arabic.

Support the Document Manager in implementing document control procedures.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and distribution of documents.

Maintain a centralized repository of translated and controlled documents.

Prepare document reports and summaries as required by the project team.

Ensure compliance with document control standards and project guidelines.
