Faculty Member in Health Information Management

Job descriptionConduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Participate in academic conferences and scholarly activities. Secure research funding where applicable. Initiate and participate in community service projects aligned with the institution’s mission. Collaborate with local organizations, schools, or healthcare facilities (as relevant). Promote public awareness and education through workshops, seminars, or outreach programs. Provide academic counseling to students. Support students’ personal and professional development. Participate in departmental and college committees. Contribute to program reviews and accreditation processes. Support quality assurance, curriculum development, and strategic initiative. PhD in Health Information Management. Proven record of research publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education (preferably in Saudi Arabia or GCC). Industry / professional experience is a plus depending on the program. Experience in community service or social impact projects is a plus. Strong subject matter expertise. Effective classroom and online teaching techniques. Research capability with evidence of scholarly output. Passion for student development. Ability to contribute to community service and institutional initiatives. Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
The Faculty Member plays a critical role in delivering high-quality education, advancing academic excellence, and contributing to the professional and personal development of students. This position supports BMC’s mission and strategic goals through effective teaching, academic advising, research, and participation in institutional development and community service.
