Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports. Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company has been appointed to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of a state of the art international airport in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. King Salman International Airport will have a capacity of up to 120 million travellers by 2030 and 185 million travellers by 2050, and the capacity to process up to 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050. Bechtel will provide PMC services for three new terminals; Terminal 6 is a new build ‘low cost carrier’ – hyper efficient terminal with gross floor area of ≈450,000m2, capacity of 20mppa; Iconic Terminal is a new build ‘new concept’ terminal with gross floor area of ≈ 1M m2, capacity of 40 to 45 mppa, and Private Aviation Terminal and hangars for VIPs and business jet passengers. Job Summary :

The Logistics Construction Manager Terminals is responsible for leading all logistics planning and execution across a major commercial airport construction site. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and coordinated movement of materials, equipment, workforce, and vehicles throughout the construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling uninterrupted site operations, minimizing risk, and supporting overall program delivery through effective logistics control. #LI-RG1 Major Responsibilities :

Develop and implement the overall logistics strategy for the airport construction program, covering terminal and support facilities Lead and manage logistics operations including material deliveries, site access control, internal traffic management, laydown areas, storage zones, and waste handling Oversee the design and maintenance of temporary infrastructure, including access roads, fencing, lighting, signage, and logistics compounds Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, and suppliers to integrate logistics plans with construction schedules Establish and enforce procedures for vehicle movements, delivery bookings, offloading protocols, and workforce transportation Serve as the primary liaison for construction logistics with the client, airport authority, and key project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader program objectives Manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics team, including logistics managers, coordinators, and third-party logistics contractors Monitor site-wide logistics performance and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security standards Interface with airport authorities and local agencies to manage permits, access credentials, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records of deliveries, materials flow, equipment movement, and workforce logistics Provide regular progress reports, logistics dashboards, and risk assessments to project leadership and client representatives Ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment in alignment with the master construction schedule, with no disruption to critical path activities Maintain a fully operational, safe, and efficient logistics plan across all active construction zones at all times Maintain 95%+ delivery scheduling accuracy through proactive coordination with contractors and suppliers Effectively manage laydown, staging, and access areas to prevent site congestion and material handling delays Build and maintain strong, transparent working relationships with the client, airport authority, and key stakeholders, ensuring regular updates and responsiveness to project priorities Deliver high-quality logistics reporting and dashboards on a weekly / monthly basis to project leadership Education and Experience Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in construction logistics, including 5+ years in a senior or leadership role on large-scale infrastructure projects (airport experience preferred). Required Knowledge and Skills :

Demonstrated experience in planning and executing site-wide logistics for complex, multi-contractor environments. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, contractor coordination, heavy equipment movement, and temporary works logistics. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, authorities, and project stakeholders. Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations and logistics best practices. Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in logistics planning software, construction scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6), and Microsoft Office Suite.
