The Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing works at the project site, including plastering, painting, tiling, ceiling, carpentry, and other architectural finishes. The role ensures that all finishing activities are executed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily finishing works and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and workers to achieve smooth site operations.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with QA / QC standards.
- Monitor progress, manpower, and productivity for all finishing activities.
- Report site progress and any technical issues to the Site Engineer or Construction Manager.
- Ensure all finishing details are completed to the required quality before handover.
- Maintain site safety and housekeeping at all times.
- Support testing, snagging, and rectification works during the final stages of the project.
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid rework or delays.
- Prepare daily reports on work status and labor allocation.
Qualifications & Skills :
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil or Architectural Engineering (preferred).Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finishing supervision within building or construction projects.Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and sequence of works.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and details.Excellent leadership and communication skills with site labor and subcontractors.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Familiarity with safety procedures and site management.Site-based position involving outdoor and indoor supervision.Requires coordination with engineers, QA / QC, and subcontractors.Fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and quality expectations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
